Buying a chicken in Africa

Amanda, Mattie and I ventured into the Masindi market the last week to get some gifts for a local family, Eddies family, the little boy who was one of PMI’s first patients at the Masindi Clinic. We wanted to get them some staples and him a soccer ball and a chicken on behalf of the team. A chicken is a very precious gift in Uganda! Amanda snapped some shots of the scene with my snapper… good shots Amanda!

we’ll take that one! 10,00 Shillings aka about $9.00
