I flew again today, over deepwater, photographing the recovery of oil from the surface of the GoM. As I was coming in from the water we flew over some great countryside and landed near downtown Mobile, Alabama. I like Mobile’s modest little skyline. It’s got a port. A tunnel. A skyscraper and a causeway and sits on a nice brackish water bay. A little gem of the south actually.
