Honduras

I spent a week in Honduras last week assisting at a children’s home with a great group of people. We stayed in Tegucigalpa and ventured into the mountains each day. Honduras is a beautifully rugged country, with over 80% of it being mountainous and some beautiful coast on the northeast of the country. We took one day and went to Valle de Angeles and that was a nice way to see the country.

If you’d like a chance to go and assist, check out LAMB.

FlyWay

I shot a beautiful home south of Charleston last month for MDI. It’s always a good day working with them at these beautiful homes.

Singer Wedding

Ashley Grant with WED designed this beautiful wedding at the William Aiken House for the Woody’s last month.  Sarah York Grimshaw obviously did the flowers… just look at these! Congratulations Chelsea & John!!

Mothers Need

Here is a PMI fundraiser video I put together from my time over in Uganda in August.

Return to Montana

It had been years, 8 to be exact, since I had stepped foot in Montana. Having gone to college at the University of Montana in Missoula, I was thrilled to return to wear my photography career I reckon really began. It was interesting to reflect on why and how I ended up there, and how it was such a good time and place for me to be then. Looking back and seeing how much life has changed since those days… I think I left some stuff behind this past week. And that’s a good thing.

Matt and I flew in to Bozeman and drove up to Son’s ranch, north of Bozeman near the Crazy Mountains, to a town called Martinsdale.

We hunted out of an old mink shed; protected from the weather, hidden from the candy land of deer activity below.

Then one day we decided to wake up really early and go look for Elk in the freezing cold. It was awesome… I’m a huge fan of 4 wheelers and was really impressed to be able to drive these any where… I’ll probably get a couple one day. Way too much fun.

Chicago View

I’ve been in Chicago a lot lately working on a project for a client. I love that city… one of the only big cities I think I’d want to live in anymore. Alas, here is a view I spotted while being up there last week.

The Dollars

Rebekah and Ben got married off this past Sunday at Boone Hall Plantation. It was a pleasure being able to work with the Johnson family and teaming up last minute with Ooh! Events and coordinator Jerri Heater. Everything went off smoothly and the music was phenomenal, too.

Congratulations!

Boat Exit

A month or so before Logan’s wedding, we met up out at Boone Hall to do some bridal portraits. I really enjoyed some of the shots we got… we wanted, or I did at least, to do some editorial style shots. She has an all American girl look I think, which is a total compliment, and I wanted to show that a little.

Logan & Mark at River Oaks

Logan and Mark got married off this weekend. Here is a preview of images. It was my first time photographing River Oaks too, and wow, what a venue. It is a awesome private residence venue in a classic Low Country setting.

Congratulations Logan & Mark!

Cheers, kids!
